Arriving & Departing
Getting to the Show
As one of the country's most accessible cities, Washington is served by three major airports, Amtrak and a first-rate subway system, Metro. Destinations Showcase takes place in the new Washington Convention Center, located between 7th and 9th Streets, N Street, and Mt. Vernon Place, NW, in downtown DC.
What's more, because registration is free, local meeting professionals can enjoy an entire day of education, exploring new meeting destinations, networking, and a complimentary lunch—for just the cost of Metro fare or parking.
Local Transportation
The Washington Convention Center is easily reached via the Green and Yellow METRO lines with direct entry to/from the “Mt. Vernon Sq./7th St. - Convention Center" station or a short walk from "Gallery Place/Chinatown" station on the Red Line. For out of town attendees, Reagan National Airport is conveniently located on the Yellow Line and Union Station (Amtrak) is accessible via a Red Line transfer at nearby Gallery Place/Chinatown.
