We hope you can join us and your fellow destination marketing industry colleagues at the 16th Annual Foundation Dinner & Dream Auction the evening before Destinations Showcase. Last year, we honored Anne Daly Heller with the prestigious Spirit of Hospitality Award. This premier event for the tourism industry brings together some 1,000 friends and colleagues for an evening of fine food and camaraderie.
Anne Heller, publisher and co-founder of USAE, a hospitality industry publication in its 25th year of production, is an active supporter of the destination marketing industry. She has a history of volunteerism in the association, meetings, and travel industries and has raised thousands of dollars for not only the DMO industry, but also for ASAE, PCMA, and many others.
Heller has served on committees several times over for the ASAE Summit Awards dinner, the ASAE Foundation, and PCMA Foundation. She also served on the DMAI Foundation Dinner committee (2003), served as the Dinner's co-chair (2007-2008), and chairs the DMAI Foundation annual Dream Auction (2004-present).
About her, Steve Moore, incoming chair of the DMAI Foundation and president and CEO of the Greater Phoenix CVB, said: "It's an honor to recognize Anne's longtime commitment to the industry with this award. Few individuals have done more to promote tourism and the destination marketing industry."
