Consent
Continued visitation and use of the Destinations Showcase Web site acknowledges your consent to our privacy policy and future updates. All submitted correspondence becomes the property of DMAI. When you communicate with DMAI electronically, you consent to receive electronic responses including e-mail newsletters, promotions, and news of upcoming events. You may opt out of our e-mail list at any time. Please read on for directions to the right on how to opt-out of receiving DMAI mailings.
Security
When you apply to exhibit or register to attend a Destinations Showcase event, you will be asked to submit your first and last name, mailing address, email, telephone number, and additional information pertinent to qualifying for admission and other services rendered (example: credit card information). Please be assured that DMAI and its contractors employ robust security systems to keep your personal and financial data secure through our encrypted site. A limited number of DMAI employees and/or vendors may access your information for the sole purpose of processing your order, replying to your questions and comments, and preparing related marketing materials. Remember that you can always opt-out from receiving marketing materials.
Tracking and Storage
In an effort to continuously improve the relevance of our site content and marketing efforts, we store and track information regarding customer visits, email broadcasts, attendee registration and exhibitor applications, and survey responses. Details provided (examples: IP address, demographics, areas of interest) may be referenced to produce more effective marketing and interest-specific campaigns. We use this information to continuously improve our content, to provide our visitors, attendees, and exhibitors with a more personalized Destinations Showcase experience, and to stay abreast of industry fluctuations and trends. Please be assured that DMAI does not track your visits or activity anywhere else on the Internet.

Beacons are electronic images that record page visits and in e-mails, track click-through rates. You must be 18 years of age or older to register for Destinations Showcase. DMAI will never purposely collect personal information from children/visitors under the age of 17. If any information is inadvertently collected from a child/visitor under the age of 17, DMAI will delete the information from its database. Third-Party Offers
So that we may continue to offer free or low-cost admission to qualified meeting professionals, you consent to share the information you provide during registration with exhibitors and/or event sponsors. You may opt-out of sharing your telephone and fax numbers by checking the appropriate box on the registration form. We will NEVER share your email address outside of DMAI.
*Exception: in consideration for complimentary travel, lodging, and/or admission offered to hosted buyers, email addresses of those applying to the hosted buyer program may be shared with sponsoring hosted buyer destinations.
Forward to a Friend
Want to refer a friend or colleague to Destinations Showcase? You may click on the e-mail a friend link to send event information to the recipient of your choice. DMAI may provide your e-mail address so that your friend will know that you made the request. Your friend’s e-mail address will be used for this purpose ONLY until/unless your friend grants DMAI permission to add him/her to the marketing database. |
