Code of Conduct

Destinations Showcase is a private trade event with strict qualification criteria for participation. To maximize the enjoyment of all invited guests, participants are expected to meet established prerequisites and demonstrate professionalism at all times. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

PC proficiency is a required prerequisite for today’s successful meeting planners, including regular access to a valid and active email account. Therefore, without exception, all attendees must provide a legitimate email address to register and receive confirmation. Destinations Showcase will not share your email address, per our Privacy Promise.

Qualifying information including the proper name, hosting organization, dates, and location of your largest event may be requested to verify eligibility. So it is important that all information on the registration form is complete and accurate. At a minimum, registrants must be 18-years-of-age or older, non-suppliers, and be primarily employed as a planner of professional meetings, conventions, and/or trade shows requiring overnight accommodations for the majority of participants. We regret that we cannot approve admission for any registrant who does not meet this criteria.

Integrity and ethical business practices are essential in the meetings industry. Anyone providing false, inaccurate, or contradicting information when registering will not be approved to attend.

Professional demeanor is expected on-site and throughout the registration process. The use of written or verbal threats or intimidation, obscene language, profanity or gestures, etc. will automatically disqualify your participation in the event. This includes communication via email and voice mail.

No soliciting policy is in effect throughout the event facility. Distributing handbills, soliciting, or petitioning without the prior written consent of show management is strictly prohibited.

Dress code is “business casual” and appropriate attire should be worn for all Destinations Showcase functions. Shorts, t-shirts, etc. are prohibited.

No wheeled carts or bags will be permitted in the expo hall to minimize obstructions in the aisles. Luggage carts, rolling computer cases, and all other wheeled carriers must be left at coat check. Those with medical or mobility concerns may request an exemption when registering.

No photography, videotaping, or filming of any portion of the event is permitted without prior written consent of show management.

Possession or carrying of firearms or weapons of any kind, openly or concealed, with or without a permit is prohibited.

Engaging in any unlawful activity or behavior is prohibited.

Only service animals trained to assist persons with disabilities are permitted within the convention facility.

Individuals who fail to follow the above guidelines will be denied admission and/or asked to immediately leave the convention facility.
